There’s a handful of stickers in here from my Bachelor Party and a few other occasions we’ve traveled to breweries for as well. Special call out to Lone Pine. They catered the beer for my wedding and set me up with a 12 pack of their glasses as a little gift. Also to Whalers Brewing for hosting our rehearsal dinner. ![Photo of the top](https://lemm.ee/api/v3/image_proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Flemmy.world%2Fpictrs%2Fimage%2F540661ac-166c-4197-b867-6df27309ed03.jpeg) ![And Side](https://lemm.ee/api/v3/image_proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Flemmy.world%2Fpictrs%2Fimage%2Fe091f4e6-0afa-4ae5-abfb-734b94e7f278.jpeg) The cooler took a few hard hits off-roading in Moab, so some stickers are already in need of a cover up. What’s the point of having a cooler like this if you don’t take it places? I’ll just need to go to more places for more stickers 😉

Hi beer lovers. I'm just finishing a trip in Belgium and Amsterdam. I tried a lot of beers during my stay. I took notes. While I'm sure I can find some/most of the beers I've tasted back home in Canada, I was wondering if there is an app, or a website, that can recommend other beer based on my own tastes. Like, if I rate the beer I drink based on my tastes, the engine could recommend other beers of a cumuler kind and taste. I've been searching such a tool for half an hour and I didn't find anything that resembles this. All the beer apps I've found so far were to rate beer, and find local places where they sell your favourite beer. I want to discover new beers. Any suggestions?

I've been a craft beer nerd for nearly a decade, and I've been working on getting a place open with my friends since 2019. We finally opened this weekend, and it was an absolute blast! We all think the beer turned out great, and apparently so did everyone else. If you happen to be in the area and have a chance to drop by, mention this post and have a pint on me! (I'm the dork on the left)

I found this at my local Total Wine while browsing the shelves. Not much of a detailed review here but I thought it was really good! I was curious about the chili peppers but it's hardly noticeable at all. EDIT: For some reason I am getting errors trying to attach the image so here's one from the web. https://res.cloudinary.com/tavour/image/upload/tyn4d8wohrqd02a4qlnu

Maybe I’m odd, but I’ve been really enjoying sour beers lately. I seem to just find the same ones over and over in stores though. Any good recommendations for sour beers I should try to find? Bonus points if they sell online!

Airport beer Lots to dislike about air travel, but I do appreciate enjoying a beer at the airport. This one is a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I know Budweiser calls itself "the King of Beers" but who decided they get that title? Isn't Yuengling the real king of beers? I need to know.

They claim to be 127 years old. But have been a big part of the craft beer scene since the 70's. Sad panda.

cross-posted from: https://lemm.ee/post/954190 > As the title says, I brewed a Brown Wheat Ale with Applewood-Smoked Leaf Hops. This was my first time using smoked hops and I'm happy with the result. They imparted more of a subtle smoke flavor than smoked malt. Recipe is available [here](https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/1387401/halfling-s-smokeleaf-wheat) if anyone is interested.

I guess I haven't been paying attention because I just found another Trappist brewery that I was not aware existed. Apparently opened in 2017. Has anyone tried this? I'm going to pick up some this weekend and report back.
