Horrorstör is a 2014 horror comedy novel written by Grady Hendrix and illustrated by Michael Rogalski. The novel is set in ORSK, an IKEA-like store, where a group of employees - including store manager Basil and employees Amy and Ruth Anne - stay overnight to investigate strange supernatural occurrences. The story follows Amy, who is unhappy with her job at ORSK. As the group investigates the store, they discover that the land was previously the site of a prison with a cruel warden named Worth. The ghosts of the prisoners, known as "penitents", haunt the store and try to capture the employees. Amy and Basil manage to escape the store before it floods, but the other employees are not so lucky. At the moment, I'm reading [The Fireman by Joe Hill](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/02aa4837-8491-44d8-abf3-f62b51aedb92). He doesn't consider it horror and honestly, at the stage I'm at in the book, I would have to agree with that assessment, *but*, it is widely accepted as such. His books are typically quite short and to the point. I have to say, though, The Fireman is really good so far. It's at a point where things are kind of slow so I hope it picks up a bit. Anyway, enough about me. What are *you* reading or have recently read?
