Indiana Pacers
Another great article from Caitlin Cooper
They looked good, although not a very serious challenge for them. The rotation will be interesting to watch
Indiana's defense must be better Jalen Smith and Aaron Nesmith impressed Buddy Hield did everything offensively but make shots Personally I was most Impressed with Ben Sheppard. After a nondescript summer league, he was looking like a real player and a legit 3 point threat for the team.
"Jarace Walker. . . essentially was the point guard over the final eight minutes of the game along wit overtime. The rook scored a team high 19 points, making 4 of 9 three-pointers and only two of those were ill-advised (he made one of the ill-advised shots). Walker also finished with 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 turnovers. He was a tick late on a few passes, trying to hit a cutter in traffic which lead to the turnovers, but he sees what is going on quite well."
Game starts at 8pm eastern
Starts Sunday!
I knew it would probably have to happen eventually but I'll be sad to see him go
Really hoping this turns out to be the case for him. Unlikely, but I like the target for him
Caitlin Cooper with a fantastic analysis of the Pacers, as always
A great read (as always) from Caitlin Cooper
Teams in this group: -Philadelphia 76ers -Cleveland Cavs -Atlanta Hawks -Indiana Pacers -Detroit Pistons
With so many young players it'll be an exciting and interesting summer league this year
I think this makes a lot of sense for both teams given the Chemistry with Sabonis that Duarte already has
Disappointed at the trade down from 40 as I think some talented players fell to around then. Mojave being one of the youngest in the draft to pair with a young Kendall brown in the G league does make some sense
