We have identified the following issues in our October 17th Scheduled Update. 1. An issue where the game may get softlocked during the battle in Stage 7-26 7-26 We have identified an issue where the game has a chance to softlock in Stage 7-26. Please refer to the following for more information. [Conditions] - May occur in Clashes against a special enemy that appears only in Stage 7-26. - **There is approxiatemly 20% chance that your character will freeze during a Clash, softlocking the game.** - This issue is localized entirely within this single stage. [Cause] We created a specialized clash script only for that combat Encounter Stage. However, there was a logic error in that script tied to a specific animation, which causes the softlocking issue. You can lower the chance of triggering this issue by minimizing the number of clashes in the Stage(by targeting only a single enemy Skill Slot with all of your Skills, for example) **If the game softlocks, please select the gear wheel icon on the top right corner of the screen and select 'Give Up' to exit the stage. Then, you should be able to either retry the stage or access other content of the game.** [Solution and our future measures] We identified the problem logic and corrected the issue. We plan to add additional logic for exception cases so that no soft locking issue may occur due to similar cutscene logic issues(such as the next animation not loading for a certain amount of time). **However, as our current goal is to focus on the stability of the content for the next part of the chapter, we kindly ask for your understanding that the fix for this issue will be deployed with our next Scheduled Update, Canto 7 (Part 3).** 2. Notice: Oct. 17th Scheduled Update Error Hotfix We will deploy a Hotfix for the following issues by 17:00 today. Hotfixes can be deployed without a separate client update, and can be applied by restarting the game. However, please note that additional downloads may occur. <List> ▶ Fixed an issue where 'The Barber of La Manchaland Outis' Skill 3's "[On Use] If the target has 5+ Bleed, Coin Power +1" works up to "Coin Power +2" ▶ (EN Only) Fixed an issue where Faust's Lasso E.G.O Corrosion Skill Threadspinning Tier 4 has an issue where "(max 2)" was missing from "Coin Power +1 for ever 7 Rupture on the target (max 2)" ▶ (KR Only) Fixed typos in 'The Barber of La Manchaland Outis' self-introduction lines & voice lines ▶ (JP Only) Fixed an issue where a certain character's Skill Keyword was mislabeled as "Poise" instead of "Rupture" ▶ Updated the BGM for Stage 7-34 with a more recent version of the song We sincerely apologize for the issues, including the game softlocking issue mentioned above. Hello everyone, One of the admin of the instance hosting this community (lemmy.ml) apparently took an interest in this community and deleted several of my posts. I tried contacting them after the first deletion but got no answer. Given that the first fanart deleted was an entirely SFW picture and got deleted for being "porn", I can't just stick to the most covered characters while this gets sorted out because it's entirely possible it will get seen as porn too. For this reason, I won't post any more fanart until I get more information. I'll keep posting the official updates. Thanks for your understanding.

In the Oct. 2nd (WED) 12:00 (KST) Scheduled Update, we have identified an issue where the game may softlock under certain circumstances. - Issue: An issue where, in Focused Encounters, Clashing against an enemy's Part may cause the game to softlock under certain circumstances - Conditions: Triggered when 1) If the last Clash was a draw, 2) the enemy unit's Part is immobilized due to special conditions(except death, near-death, or Staggered), or 3) Severed. - Issue: An issue where, in Stages with Peccatula Invidiae, using a Skill sometimes shows 0 Power and softlocks the game - Conditions: Triggered when 1) the enemy unit has an E.G.O Skill equipped, 2) ended the Clash in a loss, and 3) re-equips the said E.G.O Skill and attempts to use it again We are currently investigating and addressing the above issues, and the fixes will be deployed via our next Client update. We would like to inform you of the issues that have been identified after the Sep. 26th(THU) 12:00(KST) Scheduled Update. <List> 1. An issue where the game softlocks in combat under certain circumstances 2. Errors in Dante's Notes & Story Timeline <Details> 1. An issue where the game softlocks in combat under certain circumstances We have identified a softlocking issue in our latest Client version(1.57.1) where the game would become unresponsive during a combat encounter. This issue occurs for enemies with certain patterns, and we are currently reviewing, investigating, and fixing content that may be affected by this issue. Cause: In the process of adding the 'Retreat' function to the game, we made an adjustment to the game logic to fix an issue where a unit defeated at the current Turn Start gets eliminated from the Passives list UI on the left side of the screen. Issue: The 'Turn End' effects that were supposed to activate only against surviving units were activating on defeated units as well, which meant that the game could softlock under those specific circumstances. Solution: We have corrected the logic that was causing these issues, and we are currently testing any content that may have been affected by this issue. 2. Errors in Dante's Notes & Story Timeline After the Sep. 26th(THU), 12:00(KST) Scheduled Update, we identified an issue with the timeline in the newly added Dante's Notes & previously updated stories. Issue: Stories from 6.5-1 'Timekilling Time' to 'The 4th Walpurgis Night' Mini Episode are labeled as 984.11. Cause: We misread the timeline of the events in Timekilling Time, which led us to mislabel the months in which the events of the story are taking place. Solution: We have adjusted the timeline for the following story banners. * The following story banners visible in the Drive menu have been adjusted to 984-12 6.5 - Timekilling Time Detour Tales - 'A Familiar Siren' 6.5 - Murder on the WARP Express Detour Tales - 'The 4th Walpurgis Night' * The entry dates for Dante's Notes, which were added with the Sep. 26th(THU) 12:00(KST) Scheduled Update, have also been adjusted to match our intentions Preventative Measure: We will keep better track of the timeline of the City and the order of events that takes place within. <Error Fix Deployment ETA> In order to deploy the fix for issue #1 "An issue where the game softlocks in combat under certain circumstances", we must proceed with a client build. We are currently performing a test on relevant content and developing the upcoming content simultaneously, so it is difficult for us to proceed with a new build and submit an emergency review request to deploy a fix for this issue. The new version with a fix for this issue will be applied with our next Scheduled Update, alongside our other content and fixes. The issue #2 "Errors in Dante's Notes & Story Timeline" will be deployed via a hotfix by 20:30. Hotfixes can be deployed without a client update, and will be applied upon restarting the game. Please note that additional downloads may occur to refresh the in-game data. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by these issues.
