Reaper

Problem: two tracks overlap frequencies (e.g. voice and and instrument). Usual solution: eq down on the instrument to free the frequencies Problem 2: instrument doesn't sound right when playing alone Solution : - route voice to instrument channel 3 - automate EQ with channel 3 so that th eq goes down only when a signal is there. Quick and dirty way to do it faster than manual automation. Has a nice whisper to loud result.

Hi, is there a way to automatically load a plugin to every track when importing a midi file? I work with gm midis often and having to add the soundfont plugin to each track is getting a bit annoying. I tried to look it up but couldn't find an option. Thanks

Hi, I just bought the nanokontrol2 to fiddle around a bit with Reaper, but there doesn't seem to be any drivers for linux readily available. I've searched around a bit to see if someone made drivers to get it to work - but I apperantly I just too dim to make it work. Does anybody have any pointers how to get this device to work properly with Reaper?

Happy to be here

I'm excited to try something new. The reaper community is one of the strongest reasons I have to use the tool. The community support has helped me learn and use the DAW to create my art and express myself. Thank you.

Since I'm in the process of deleting my 15yo. reddit account I decided to start organizing communities I hope to see grow here. There was not already an existing community so I thought this would be the right instance for it because of its focus on music and music production. If you are a moderator of the old subreddit and would like to take this over then just let me know. I'd be happy to not be the only moderator (or a moderator at all).
