Watch Live 6PM PDT - ESPN2 Total game impression: Key contributions from Clingan, Murray, Rupert, and McGowen closed a 20 point gap to 4 points and made the Spurs sweat at the end. Clingan was forcing shots that lead bricks. But his defensive contribution was able to show why he was a lottery pick. The 5 blocks and 13 rebounds showed gives me hope that his skills will translate at the NBA level. His conditioning is not at an NBA level yet, But he shouldn't be playing much as a back up.

The Blazers got their guy to drop at 7. Earlier reporrts had the Blazers trading up for Clingan.
I personally would prefer to get Cody Williams at 7th and Zach Edey at 14th

Blazers will be in the first apron if they continue in their current path. Decisions on which veteran to keep will decide the shape of the roster going forward.

The future of the team of Scoot and Sharpe will be determined the in the next 2 years. Let's hope the Blazers don't spend to much time in purgatory. The moves that Joe Cronin does for this summer will lay the foundation to whatever that eventual future will be.
Blazers lose the tie breaker against the Hornets for the NBA draft lottery. Blazers will have 13.2% chance at getting the 1st overall pick.
It's Over... It's Done... This was a very hard season to watch. The upside was the development of Anfernee Simons as lead guard, Scoot's roller coaster season, and seeing the pieces we are likely to keep develop together. Let's hope Mike Schmidt uses his draft choosing powers properly and get us a stud at the draft.
