Just inherited this gun. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

It's a J. Stevens 16 gauge single shotgun. My grandmother gave it to me and said it was my grandfather's grandfather's.

I couldn't find any serial numbers on it, but it has the number 21 stamped into it
