XBox Series X/S Controller won't work via Bluetooth. Please help!

Fedora KDE Plasma spin - I have scoured the net and just cannot get this fucking pos to work via bluetooth. I tried both xone and xpadneo, and neither does anything. The controller is recognized and will "connect", but it does nothing and the Xbox light continues to flash as if it's not connected. I have HID enabled, and while xpadneo is supposed to disable ertm, I did it manually just to be sure and it still doesn't work. I'm fucking pissed. The only thing I've ever had this much trouble getting to work on Linux was music production softwares. Please help!
