So dumb. The captain can be partially blamed if there was negligence considering planned routes going through areas with bad ZOC (zone of confidence), or bad knowledge of depth in easier terms. Which might be a reason as they were surveying the area. But that's pure speculation.
Trying to blame anything on the captain being a woman is just ridiculous. The navigator on watch could also run the ship aground due to bad navigation, without the captain even being included in the process.

I'm not claiming to know anything about this specific flood. Sure might be sick idk.
But there's a huge amount of crisis' that got greater because of how we built, not what happened.
Take the flood in Pakistan last year. The same flood happening 50 years ago in the same area wouldn't be such a catastrophe. What caused it to be so severe was the amount of people who had settled in a valley which is carved out by smelting water from glaciers. Building smarter is the most rational solution for short term gains. Stabilizing the climate is a much greater endeavour, and might be impossible short term.

If you settle in an area famous for being a flood plain, you can't be mad about it when the plain floods.
Germany are now doing experiments with controlled flooding of old flood plains to channel water away from too narrow man made canals. The flooding also kills invasive plants as they were only allowed to grow because of the geological changed forced upon the land.

Lar summer in Norway we had a flood matching the regular high points. Only issue was that the last high point was almost 100 years ago. So people stopped caring and the areas close to the river was regulated as river front houses.

I bought some SNES shells to put on my joy cons. Was pretty cheap and decent fun. Even switched to hall effect sticks.
Didn't even need Nintendo to produce them and sell them as a premium. eXtremeRate and probably many others let you make your own limited edition. As long as you don't want any copyrighted trims like logos.

I have also spent some time screwing around with AI art generators. No way I'm addressing my self as an artist for it. AI art can be useful in certain situations such as whipping together a stupid meme to share between some friends. It's not any talent involved, and it's not something you should consider as copyright worthy.
Creating nice art is available to anyone. It just require some creativity and talent if you want to love of it. Being an artist is not some basic human right. As plenty of "artists" believe.

So what is it? Not arguing that death penalty is fine. But the debate of the method shouldn't be riddled with lies as it poisons the debate climate.
I'm looking for some new ear buds for running and other purposes, but finding anything suited for a mediocre active lifestyle seems hard. Now I have a pair of Sennheiser sport true wireless. What works is the audio quality and reliable charging. What doesn't work is the very clunky charging case, and any trace of rain will adjust the volume, change the song or pause the track. A stable 3/5 product. Wearing a hood just amplifies the problem as a tiny amount of moisture will interfere. I'm not trusting Sennheiser for a new pair right now as their Momentum True Wireless 3 buds had a faulty charging tech. Both me and my partner had to send them in and receive new ones. Bad for us, bad for the environment. Any recommendations for a pair with a nice balanced sound quality, good case, and reliable controls in all conditions?
I think om going insane. When you carry it by the handle it's so long that it may scratch the ground, but the handles are too short to cary it properly over your shoulder. What's going on? How are they so popular?

A welcome change in my opinion. Having played through the biome both solo and duo im happy to see spawn rates reduced a bit. The initial landing is fine as a challenge, but after that it gets very tedious and boring after a while. There's only so many skeletons you want to parry before you're fed up with the play loop. Hopefully this will make engaging the biome a bit more interesting and better paced.
