Good; great. I still believe in the reusing of things and believe that mass organizing and logistics of it have extremely significant value. However, the workers have deserved much better pay since minimum wage has not kept up with the cost of living.

Whenever anyone complains about California labor laws, I just assume they're upset they couldn't take more off the top at this point.

One of the greatest things about building a Tyranids army (or at least when I played during 3rd/4th/5th edition) is that you can more or less do whatever color scheme you enjoy the most. There are more than a handful ideas out there based on the different Tyranid Fleets in the lore though. Also agreed that this person's doing one bangup of a job!

I've never actively fed any of my CPs. From what I've read, occasional is fine. VFTs can only handle so many closings on a leaf, but I'm really only familiar with sundew Spatulata, which don't do much. I think the most important things are right water, enough light, and good potting.

When a host server of a frediverse server defederates, they no longer share/update their info. So right now, kbin (I get kbin.social on my feed and subscribed there) is connected/federated with Lemmy. We can post there; their members can post here. We all receive updates/copies of each other's posts. All of us are in the same conversation. When defederation happens, it's like no longer talking to each other. We could still use the kbin.social page we were subscribed to, but everything new would be "us"/Lemmy only and we wouldn't see Kbins members, and they wouldn't see ours. Or: the virtual information sharing cable is cut, and we only see what was there or is added from our own end. Beehaw cut it's information off from Lemmy due to the rapid increase of users wanting access (from what I've seen).

I lightly top water it and try not to let too much be in the bottom. The reservoir is maybe only 1", so one overwater won't get it too wet for too long, fortunately. Or if I'm daring I can empty it out into my other plants.
I had one spatulata that I separated and none of them made it, so I don't dare try to do the same until some unplanned seedlings pop up. It got too much for its original pot, but is doing better again in the bigger one.

I believe it was latte.isnot.coffee, but it appears they recently opened up. Or I was just a confused new user and didn't realize what instance the community/post was under. You can search for instances at: https://browse.feddit.de/ In cased you missed it, Beehaw defederated at the start of the recent big Reddit migration, so we won't receive any external post/updates and vise-versa outside of your own instance. If I'm oversimplifying or need correction - anyone correct me!

The first local instance I signed up before I fully understood/realized what I was doing was focused on getting together a Chinese or Chinese American instance. Seemingly decent, but I just really didn't want to be barging in on something that wasn't for me. People seem to really be liking Jerboa, but I find it much simpler finding other instances in the web browser. I still have much to learn though.

Roughly cut away and then sanded some planters with very small built in reservoirs. Have a Venus flytrap and saracennia purpea x purpea that need a repotting but I overwintered them a couple weeks too long.

The only rational way to be upset would be if you were dead set on the steamy John Oliver exposure! I just had to do a role-reversal of John and the man whose foot was on his neck for over a season, daddy Driver.

Thanks! Fortunately, I find them to be a pretty easy read. The Sci-Fi explanations and concepts aren't overly technical, and just enough to really get a good feel for the setting and tech IMO. The first 2/3 were great. I'm really interested in what'll be going on in the time jump.

I'm here for the answers. Based on the readings/research I've found, I still have yet to get a good feel of how to get the main trunk small thick. My fiancé has a starter set of three I'll be excited to start on!
I live closest to South Mountain in PA. I learned to give some shape and give just the right amount of rip (usually). I recently had one of my worst rounds there during a tags league (+16?) after getting +3-6 the few weeks prior. The more active people around the area don't mind the non-obvious lines and enjoy the challenge relative to the general hole length. It feels like most of the players who are visiting for a round or two always complain about the "lack" of lines; I'm sure I've played other courses where I'm guilty of the same to some regular! I keep going back, and not just because it's close. Although, I do still have to learn to throw more accurate bombers on open courses. What's your favorite local or regular course recommendation that "non-locals" seem to dislike? What are your recommendations for first time throwers?
