Grey ape here - I can't imagine anyone that is part of this movement drs shares only to sell down here. I've always thought these numbers were just flat out wrong and the actual drs is higher.
I remember reading before the drs movement really kicked off that we all expected there to be way more shares floating around than actually existed and were issued so part of the reason to drs was to expose this fraud....well maybe the numbers and rug pulls don't make sense because fraud?

Thank you. This is exactly right, it's a hit piece designed to get people who already don't like Tesla all worked up... and it worked remarkably well.

Induction is great, switch 1 yr ago. Most cookware works, not just cast iron.
Pro tip: if want to know if your pan works with induction, take a magnet and see if it sticks to the pan. If it sticks, it will heat!

I am not familiar with what's happening in NZ and I don't completely understand the payment thing. Does everyone in NZ get a basic monthly income?
As for your question about inflation. There are several factors at play so too much demand for goods and a stressed supply can cause price inflation. But I think we have mostly moved passed supply constraints... at least in the industry I work.
Monetary policy like hiking federal fund rates is designed to make the cost to borrow higher, which makes larger purchases less affordable, so you hold off on purchasing a car or a house or other items, tampering demand, so inflation goes down.
Savings? That's not something they talk about in America too often because we are an economic that thrives on dept, but I think in other parts of the world it is the norm to always be living within your means and putting away savings.
What's the best way to evaluate your gpu performance on a Linux? I am running a 4060 with the Nvidia 535 driver. Should I use glmark? What is a good score?

Just here to say that this man is not Tesla. The people that are making these cars are doing a fantastic job all things considered. I get not wanting to be associated with Elon but he's one man in a giant company of people that are working their ass off to design and build these cars.
And they are the best cars on the road. A generation better than anything else out there right now. The only other car I would consider is a Rivian, but they are so big and use a lot of electricity. If you don't want to buy one than don't, but evaluate the car and not the wack job CEO.

So as someone who is formally trained in biology and has been working in the field for a while. I think it's pretty bogus that they would have four cadavers and only have sequenced one genome. There's a ton of sequencing happening even in the 2000-2010s. I think they would have sequenced every last piece.
