And the magic consumption is bonkers. If too many use it, all floating candles in Hogwarts go out.

That's fine of course. GoT has become especially interesting with the House of the Dragon installment. Probably that also had an effect on fanfiction.
What's ao3?

That's just a very solid, hard-edged shadow!

I think so too. Its hard to gain any traction beside memes.
I hope the Lemmy developer quickly implement disabling images as a admin option, so one can at least see other images on this instance. Maybe then some people join the instance and it gets on join-lemmy.org

Trying out something new ... feel free to comment what you think of posting fanfiction chapters once in a while here
"Every inch of wall space is covered by a bookcase. Each bookcase has six shelves, going almost to the ceiling. Some bookshelves are stacked to the brim with hardback books: science, maths, history, and everything else. Other shelves have two layers of paperback science fiction, with the back layer of books propped up on old tissue boxes or lengths of wood, so that you can see the back layer of books above the books in front. And it still isn't enough. Books are overflowing onto the tables and the sofas and making little heaps under the windows. This is the living-room of the house occupied by the eminent Professor Michael Verres-Evans, and his wife, Mrs. Petunia Evans-Verres, and their adopted son, Harry James Potter-Evans-Verres. There is a letter lying on the living-room table, and an unstamped envelope of yellowish parchment, addressed to Mr. H. Potter in emerald-green ink." ...

Hermine certainly does love books. She would go wild with the internet and all. Although I don't think ebooks would be her kind of thing ...

I guess mastodon.social? Its not only the Brazilians, its also BTS army, and the japanese community. They also went to Bluesky instead of Fedi. Maybe the fediverse is too euro-centric?
Maybe at some point swifties could join the Fediverse?

I wasn't really sure about this one myself. But I thought it was a pun on anorexia, which isn't great.

"Bluesky has managed to grow significantly bigger than the fediverse at this point, with around 5 times as many monthly active users, as well as onboarding the Brazilian community. It seems to me that it is worth reflecting on why that is, and how the fediverse can better show itself as a good, ethical social network that people would like to join."
Yeah, why is that? On the one hand, LGBTQ is strong in the Fediverse, and tech nerds of course. But other than that ... the Fediverse never had this kind of cultural momentum.

Thats sad. I'm sure mozilla could have pushed the Fediverse

Yeah. Its like ... I would love too, but I don't think I have the time. If I would have an infinite amount of free time, it would come right after finishing the dune novels.

See if you can find the connection between the characters ;)
