It's not about saying Biden is to blame. Trump 100% should have blame.

But the fact that someone else STARTED (or in this case re-started) a bad thing doesn't mean the next person in power gets a free pass for not working to stop it again.

So it's perfectly fair to call out Biden for not stopping the bad thing that Trump (re)started.

To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

Just because YOU didn't know doesn't mean much. It just means you're probably not a White Nationalist/Nazi (or maybe it means you are and are just ill informed about the culture and iconography surrounding it ).

I've always been happiest with xfce4-terminal, though I'm using Konsole currently until XFCE fully supports Wayland.

Way back when, I was more than happy with rxvt.

At one point I had found an existing issue in the bug tracker, but the last time I looked I couldn't find it again.

And I've tried both the open source nouveau driver, and a driver downloaded from Nvidia and they both had the same issue.

Unfortunately no. I mean for the most part it works pretty well (Plasma 6) but I do have a couple consistent issues.

1. On my AMD gaming laptop it has some weird video static artifacts occasionally when running on the laptop screen that don't exist on external screens. But I know that it it isn't a problem with the screen, because it happens on two different laptops with the same CPU/ GPU combination.

2. A slightly more serious issue on my work laptop which uses an old Nvidia MX-series GPU, and if I'm using an external screen, Wayland crashes if the screen goes to sleep.

But other than those issues, it's been pretty good.

At this point I vote we forcibly remove EVERYBODY from the entirety of Israel and Palestine. If they can't share it nicely, nobody should get to have it.

Copilot can't even suggest a single Ansible or Terraform task without suggesting invalid/unsupported options. I can't imagine how bad it is at doing anything actually complex with an actual programming language.

I absolutely love Better off Ted, but it doesn't surprise me that it was a flop. I feel like the level of satire went way over most people's heads.

I too once held to that ideal, but after typing almost exclusively on Model M keyboards for 40+hrs a week (Unix Sysadmin + gamer ) for 30+yrs I started to feel some strain in my fingers and hands.

About a year ago I switched to the SS Apex Pro with adjustable magnetic switches and I've been pretty happy with it so far. Yeah the software is kind of stupid but the actuation points can be adjusted and saved into several different profiles from the keyboard without the software, so I've been pretty happy with it so far.

XFS on my server VMs and my laptops and desktops.

ZFS on my file server. I'd use it on my laptops and desktops too (and have done when I was using Xubuntu) but I've switched toFedora which doesn't come with a way to easily install with ZFS and I don't feel like jumping through hoops to get it done. And I can't stand btrfs. I don't know what it is about it, but I just don't like it.

When someone else has the hiccups, cup your hands together (like you're about to pour water in them), hold them in front of them and excitedly tell them repeatedly (in a loud-ish, hurried voice like you're about to miss out on the chance of a lifetime):

" Quick! Hiccup in my hands! Hurry up! Do it! Hiccup in my hands!"

Gotta do it quickly and unexpectedly enough to surprise them. They'll either be so surprised that they forget the hiccup, or they will actually try to do it but be so focused on it that they won't be able to.

It's got a pretty high success rate for when I've tried it.

Since Trump is obviously willing to do just about anything to avoid paying for his crimes, I wonder if there comes a point where it makes sense for Biden or Harris to just offer him a pardon (knowing it only covers federal crimes) if he'll just drop out of the race.

Is it stupid and sad? Yes, yes it is. But I'd rather Trump get pardoned for some of his crimes than somehow get elected president again. I'd say that's a small price to pay.
