Wasn't meant as a monetary question. However more of a was it the ones you had originally from back then. :)

But didn't you just say you made them yourself? Or did you just mean decoration wise?

Taking it was filled with your journaling since you're willing to shell out to get it back, and not just blank?

Just girl scouts, meant as in it's not both but only one of them now. Not meant in any demeaning way.

Sorry, English is not my first language.

So you got the original ones from your own childhood or reprints?

Also, could you share a photo of the notebooks you have made? Outside, not contents of the individual notebooks.

Oh I see. But glad it it's still going strong! And that you're engaged in it still, even though it's just girl scouts. :)

    Lools very nice!

Are you still a boyscout leader? And do you use the knife for whittling or just the regular ropecutting?

  • Hi [!minimalism@lemmy.world](https://lemmy.world/c/minimalism) Let's bring back the posting and get more activity in the community. --- **My question:** What is your most prized possession? I'll start with mine. It's a watch. More specifically it's the Casio AE1500WH-1AV digital watch. Why you ask? It simply limits my phone-use and allows me to be present. I can check the clock and date (full auto-calendar till 2099), no phone needed. I can start a timer, no phone needed. Has orange backlight on a button, without always on light, which allows me to see the clock in the middle of the night without ruining my sleep. These are the features I use the most, however it has other useful functions a freaking 10 year battery (which is neat when you hate charging), 100m water resistance, 5 alarms, split times, Also the price is 30$, which means it doesn't matter if it gets destroyed, lost or otherwise, it's pretty cheap to get a new one. However it hasnt happened yet, even though I'm pretty careless with it. --- I've shown you mine, now show and tell us about yours.

Will try tomorrow when I get up.

Would /dev/sda suffice as mounting point or?

Haven't set any permissions outside standard given ones by usage.

    Thanks for answering.

  • Hello Linux Helpdesk. ;) I use Fedora (currently 40), and have done for a while. I always LUKS+Ext4 encrypt my local drive and decided to do the same to my external hard drive. Last week I reinstalled Fedora 40 from a Bootable USB, but when I tried to access my files om my external drive it now gives me the error *You do not have permission to view the content of "Files".* I've read online it's due to me no longer being the "Owner" of the drive I was in my previous install of Fedora and now I'm a different user and apparently no users a part from Owner have any permissions on an EXT4+LUKS drive. Is there any way to give myself permission to see the content again or did I bonk my backup? As a note, I DO have the correct Luks password, it shows me the name of the encrypted disk after decrypting, which is "Files" Thank you in advance. Edit: Thank you everybody, thanks to you I've been able to rescue my files. Y'all deserve a great day!
