Both middle school and high school in Denmark are required to use computers for Danish, English, German etc exams. It’s used for essays and other tests. It’s been like this since the early 2000.

I’ve used it for 5 years on iOS with zero issues at all. Set it to ‘Move’ and you will get great resolution.

Lots of people saying mealie or tandoor, so I'll say Grocy. I don't use it for every single food item but mainly for spices and frozen items and the recipe functionality is pretty good.
Sucks that it isn't available in the ios app though.

I’m not proud but after 3 hours in part 2 I had to look up help. I was trying to do it using recursion and it was not working at all.
Even after watching a couple of videos and reading code I’m not sure why part 2 works as it does 😭
I don’t normally code so this is like my yearly training 😂

Isn’t gramps a desktop app? It would make more sense to use Webtrees when using a VPS, which can be accessed over the web with login.

Todays puzzle wasn’t too bad. Part 1 was definitely longer than part 2.

Yes. I’ve tried all the available clients.

I have two main issues:
-
The appletv app isn’t as smooth and fast as plex. It is hard to convince my wife to switch when the user experience is not as good.
-
No profile fast switch. Unlike any other streaming service (Plex included) jellyfin doesn’t offer a list of profiles on startup to select who’s watching. This is a huge issue for me, as my wife, son and I uses the same devices with our own profiles.

Personally I think nextcloud is bloated with too many extra things. I’ve been using Seafile for 5+ years and it’s been great.

Take a look at the calculations here https://www.arqbackup.com/aws-glacier-pricing.html
It explains it a bit better. You have to factor in how many requests you need too. So both file sizes and amount of files.

If everyone you text with are on iPhone anyway, there’s no logical reason to switch iMessage off and use SMS.
Never personally had any issues with iMessage (not sure which parts you think “suck” and are “unstable”).
80% of my contacts use iMessage, the rest use Signal.

Auto play on the TV setting or in the Disney+ settings? Never heard of any streaming apps respecting the TV settings. Generally I’ve had to make all changes in the corresponding apps and if they don’t have an option for it, it wasn’t possible. Disney+ has generally had kids profile not autoplay the next episode but adult profiles it does.

Sounds like you need the Uno https://keyhive.xyz/shop/uno-single-key-keyboard
Probably the keyboard I use the most (lots of macros on a single key)

Absolutely love my Uno keyboard for this https://keyhive.xyz/shop/uno-single-key-keyboard
Got like 6 commands on a single key and one of them is to press shift every 30seconds so my computer doesn’t lock. Lifesaver.

This is a copy of an older comment of mine:
Everything is tagged and organized using Picard. I use a modified version of https://community.metabrainz.org/t/repository-for-neat-file-name-string-patterns-and-tagger-script-snippets/2786/156.
I've been meaning to write a guide for how it works. My current WIP script can be found here: https://gitea.baerentsen.space/FrederikBaerentsen/DataHoarder_scripts/src/branch/master/Picard.txt
My files is setup like:
~/Music/A/Artist/(YYYY) Title [Type - Format] [MusicBrainz ID]/[side] Title [length][Bandwidth].ext
eg:
/Music/Q/Queen/(1973) Queen [12 Inch Vinyl - FLAC] [1783da6a-9315-3602-a488-1738eb733a0f]
/A1. Keep Yourself Alive [3m48s][320+ 48000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/B1. Liar [6m26s][320+ 48000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/Music/B/Bruce Springsteen/(2019) Western Stars [CD - FLAC] [a50ffce7-0532-41a7-b85b-7d02f8c7af00]
/01. Hitch Hikin' [3m38s][320+ 96000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/02. The Wayfarer [4m18s][320+ 96000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
if the album isn't a studio album, theres an extra folder. eg:
/Music/B/Bruce Springsteen/Compilation/(1996) The Lost Masters I_ Alone in Colts Neck (The Complete Nebraska Session) [CD - FLAC] [8531e427-495a-443a-8fc3-0dd2ef459c93]
/01. Nebraska [4m27s][320+ 44100KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/Music/P/Phil Collins/Singles/(1981) In the Air Tonight [7 Inch Vinyl - FLAC] [e805dd53-9257-4c78-8bff-a95f0cdd767e]
/A. In the Air Tonight [5m29s][320+ 96000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
I have special categories for:
Compilations
Cover
Tribute
Singles
Live
EP
If an album contains multiple disks, there's an extra folder. Eg:
/Music/M/Michael Jackson/Compilation/(2004) The Ultimate Collection [CD - FLAC] [2d37b204-ed26-3795-9710-1514f0fd931a]
/Disc 1
/01. I Want You Back [3m00s][320+ 44100KHz VBR 2ch].flac
For soundtracks it's:
~/Music/Soundtrack/T/(YYYY) Title [Type - Format] [MusicBrainz ID]/[side] Title [length][Bandwidth].ext
eg.
/Music/Soundtrack/L/(2001) The Lord of the Rings_ The Fellowship of the Ring - The Complete Recordings [Digital Media - FLAC] [cad73ae7-5966-4de1-bad4-4a603891fd27]
/Disk 1/01. Prologue_ One Ring To Rule Them All [7m15s][320+ 48000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
Been using this for 3+ years and it's solid.
I'll try and make a better write up at some point and share my script.
This setup also works flawlessly with Plex + Prism. I run Picard in a docker container and access it over web, so it can run on my headless Debian server.
I’m a returning player and the new talents are great but a lot to take in. Every guide is always about dungeons or raids but I only play solo pve content like quest and world quests with the occasional non-mythic dungeon if needed for a quest. Does anyone have a good guardian or feral build for this? I love feral but the playstyle feels slow and clunky with so much focus on single target and ferocious bite.
So happy with the result, even though I hate backstitching. Without backstitch: ![](https://i.imgur.com/Mnl3uEs.jpg)
Been using prusaslicers default PLA profile with issues and this is my first roll of PETG, so I just selected the corresponding profile for that. It seems so be super stringy whenever there’s movement and when printing the bunny (in vase mode) there’s lots of holes in the model. I’m not sure if this is an issue with calibration (didn’t do anything when switching from PLA) or if the filament is wet.
So I’ve been wanting to replace my Pi4 (4GB) with an Optiplex for better support (x86 architecture), more ram, and a better CPU. I’m hoping to get something that also supports intel quick sync for hardware decoding of h265 but it isn’t a major problem if it isn’t available. What’s the minimum CPU to go for ? Is an i5 6500 fine ? Will that draw more power than let’s say an 8500? Will an i3 6200 be fine too? What about an i5 3400? I have no idea if I should aim for something in the i5 8x00 range vs i3/5 3x00, when it comes to power usage vs compute output. I’m not planning on running a full plex server, as there isn’t space for my 3.5” disks, but I would like to run Immich, Seafile, Audiobookshelf etc without a sweat and without using 10+ kWh a week. I’m located in Denmark so European prices are always an issue with both hardware and electricity 😂 An 8GB ram + i5 6500 Optiplex is about $150 used.
This is something i find useful and I'll try and post them on the correct day. Currently it is manual work, but I'll automate it eventually, if people enjoy it. For those who don't know: the way this works is that several comments will list this week’s releases, for any given title discussion you should respond to that comment. For example, Wonder Woman discussion would go in the replies to the "Wonder Woman" comment. Clicking the titles in this post will take you directly to that comment, too. You can post in the [**Weekly discussion comment**](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333960), if you don't have anything pertaining to a specific issue. - [The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #10](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333264) - [Batman Incorporated #10](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333298) - [Danger Street #7](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333315) - [Knight Terrors #1](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333336) - [Knight Terrors: Green Lantern #1](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333358) - [Knight Terrors: Robin #1](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333387) - [Knight Terrors: Shazam! #1](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333397) - [Knight Terrors: The Flash #1](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333433) - [Knight Terrors: Zatanna #1](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333443) - [Looney Tunes #273](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333475) - [Multiversity: Harley Screws Up the DCU #5](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333513) - [Spirit World #3](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333522) - [Superman: Lost #5](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333532) - [Unstoppable Doom Patrol #4](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333563) - [WildC.A.T.s #9](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333586) - [World's Finest: Teen Titans #1](https://lemmy.world/comment/1333639)
I’ve been using an old iPad for reading comics but the screen size is just a tiny bit too small. The iPad Pro with a bigger screen is completely out of my price range. Any devices that has a decent screen size and are affordable (in the EU)? What are everyone else using?
I’m frustrated with iBooks/Books as they bundle a bunch of cloud and purchases together and it’s impossible to organize them. Used Marvin 3 for years but that’s not available anymore. Anyone got some good suggestions?
What’s everyone using for inventory tracking? I’m about to have 200+ colors and lots of fabric without an easy overview. I’m starting a new 60 color project and it’s hard to get an overview if I have all the right colors.
Started the season as 35. Spend two days using MoveGalactus to get to 85. Over half my games were 8 cube wins. The deck has two win conditions: 1. Turn 4 iron fist, turn 5 play magik on an empty location and move her away. Turn 6 play Galactus on limbo, turn 7 play Knull, etc. 2. Turn 4 psylocke, turn 5 Galactus. Turn 6 Knull, etc All other turns you play random move cards and hope your opponent think you are an idiot with a shitty deck. You can switch Kraven for Ghostspider. After 85, I switched to HE. Mainly because Galactus got changed and I got bored with the deck. The grind from 85-100 was kinda tough and took like 3 weeks but I only play 30 min before bed to get my dailies done. At level 95 I started playing only in the morning, as it is easier to get cubes there compared to the evening.
