Feel like an idiot here, but what’s the bottom one?

Same, except I lift with my teenage son and daughter. We got a power rack in the garage and now they drag me out to it with them. We’re all feeling better about ourselves!

Sitting here reading about sail boats being easier to maneuver in harbors cause of bow thrusters, after having dealt with major prop walk just the other day in high winds while docking. The trick is keeping water moving past your rudder. Once your down to a knot or under things get dicey. Even with thrusters.

Harder and harder to know when it’s implied these days. Is there a /s involved here?

Counting commits is exactly the type of stuff starting to happen. linearb.io for example. I’m seeing this used as a way to rank dev value under the guise of “we’re just trying to help teams improve throughput”

A fanny pack should cover any issues from the poncho color. Highly recommend.

A new thing we’re trying is buying the whole turkey breast and slicing it ourselves. In my area Costco sells a well sized piece. I slice up a bit in container for immediate use and take the remaining slices and vacuum seal them. Has worked well so far. I’m sure there is still some risk here with contamination but seems less?

Hearing a few thoughts about the adjustable keel being in the up position. If the ballast was lower that would have certainly helped with stability.

My bad, you’re totally right. Here’s a before/after. He isn’t a pitty though. So I’ve also included a pic of our pitty for you too.

Reminds me of the time my wife and her friend when to an adoption event. She said she might come back with one. I told her to pick out the dog least likely to get adopted. She came back home with a 20 pound mutt that’s blind and deaf. He was rescued from a hoarder and had a bunch of open sores. Real pitiful. The before and after pics are crazy. He looks great now. Total asshole and fits right in with the family.

Highly recommend doing shit prior to that.
Have been building up this PC over the past couple years. Runs well but am trying to figure out what the best upgrade would be at this point. My guess is memory, but I’m not sure. Budget is flexible but would like to stay under $300. Thanks! edit to clarify this is a gaming rig
I’m sure there’s something “nutritional” there for them but?
Finagled my way into the attic to explore a bit. Found this wiring run that basically lays on the sheet rock with insulation sitting on top. It goes to a light switch that controls three of this thin led recessed lights. Could this get really hot and start a fire with the insulation on top? edit: breathing easier now. Sounds like this is normal stuff. Thanks for the help!
Getting frustrated with Lutron’s documentation and links to non-existing pages. I’be got lots of Caseta stuff in the house already but this new summer just won’t go with the flow. Switch and lights work fine. Wireless signal strong. I’ve even reset the switch. All I get though after the -0-second hold to go through the pairing process, is a slow-blinking top led. None of the support stuff covers this example. I will say that this is the first switch to get installed on the second floor, and the hub is in the basement. Is it too far away? Is that a thing still (not sure if thread and all that is in play here.) Thanks for the help.
I’m not sure what material or style these steps are, but they’ve started crumbling after water got into a crack and froze during the winter. It seems to be getting worse and I’m wondering how to address it. Is this something that can be patched or do I need to remove all this material and start over?
I seem to have done something that is preventing the sidebars from following any themes I’m using (Nord in this pic.) After going through every setting I can think of, I’m hoping someone here can help point me in the right direction to get these sidebars “unstuck” from being a black back ground.
I know, it’s a long way off still. But I’m pumped and can’t wait.
Do we take requests here? :) Pretty much the title. I have a childhood memory of a strip where Calvin wakes up from a dream. Upon hopping out of bed he begins free-falling and startles awake… from a dream. This repeats to a point where when his mom calls him down for breakfast he’s absolutely fraught about getting out of the bed. Anyone able to post or know approximate publication date? I have the large 3-book collection and I periodically browse through it but have had no luck finding it.
Helping kick off this sub…. err community with what I’m hoping is a softball question. We have our homekit cameras configured to show up on our tv when motion is detected. It pops up in the top right corner and we really like the feature. However, while it will eventually go away, it takes longer than I would like. I’ve tried a variety of buttons on the remote to clear it but haven’t had any luck. Anyone happen to know?
My kids have watched anime for years, but I recently learned that their favorite is Scout Regiment. I’ve never followed any of this before and I’m trying to figure out the best way I can try and learn more (search results are overwhelming!) so I can randomly drop some comments that catch them by surprise. Can anyone give a noob some pointers? edit: So much love here. Thanks for all the feedback. I’m diving in… wish me luck.
Birthday boy got a descent upgrade for his PC. Moved from a Ryzen 3 3200G to a R7 5800x. Ditched the onboard video and installed an 3060Ti. He also took the reigns and did the hardware swap entirely on his own.
Anyone have hands on experience with a reputable weather station? I’ve used Ambient Weather hardware in the past but wonder if there’s something similar that would be available in HomeKit.
Wondering if anyone has experience with this kit, I'm not finding much online so far. We've been looking at lift kits for a little while now and have heard about concerns with the heavier engine weight for diesels and how some kits may not be accounting for that. Wondering if the Mopar offering would be good enough. This is our daily and we don't do anything crazy, but would like to get a little more clearance.
Brocks recovery has been amazing to read about. Hoping he continues to get better at this pace.
