I have laughed for more than ten seconds at this. This post violates the community standards.
I am currently re-researching ADHD management (for gods know what time already) after wasting the entirety of the past two days. Wherever I go, I only see people talking about medication. How good it is, how to approach it, what to expect from it, how it was impossible before meds, how to treat them, etc. I **cannot** obtain meds. Stimulants are illegal in my country. Strattera isn't, but I am afraid that I will not be able to pursue diagnosis for reasons I am not going to share here. Please do not tell me how good meds are - there is nothing I can do to have them. I tried organising my thoughts, having a schedule, and so on (org mode in emacs), but I have forgotten about it, every single time I tried it. I have set up a periodic notification to remind me of it, I quickly started ignoring that. What can I do to make it better? How can I make sure that I will not just forget to do the things that make it better? How can I make sure that I will not *outright ignore* the things that help me?

Many people on giant general instances like mastodon.social are people from Twitter. Queer instances and their environment are better with this, but not perfect, still - there are posts that tell " ", but you do have people who are at least receptive of communist topics and do see how fucked up the world is right now. Many identify as "anarchist", but some people do put "marxist" or "socialist" or "communist".

Besides the bad attitudes, there's no way to change the gender marker in the documents... at least meds are easy to get, that makes it slightly better, but for those who couldn't change the documents before the ban staying in the country isn't a comfortable option.

Invidious is the only way I can see images in community posts, and I used invidious all the time instead of youtube, sad to see that the servers are struggling
Last time I checked there was an issue with YT's newest ways to break compatibility, and no servers were carrying the fix at that time, so I just went to YT (in private tabs always) with distracting elements deleted from the pages via ublock origin

Wine is the only way I know of to run Windows stuff on Linux, other things build on top of Wine (Proton is based on Wine and is oriented for game support, Lutris is a game-oriented launcher that helps with using Wine, etc).
A bit of pedantry: Wine is a compatibility layer, it captures Windows calls and makes them happen using its own libraries and capabilities of the operating system.
Documentation: I recommend Arch wiki - it is one of the best wikis and (mostly) works for non-Arch distros, too
I recommend getting comfortable with the terminal, and after that - understanding how to troubleshoot an unbootable system (for example if GRUB goes ) using livecd environment. And also try to learn Vim on comfortable pace, if you happen to like it, it'll be great. Also make sure you have regular backups of important data.

The thin box with the warranty card and instructions, at least on Hexa, also contains a cardboard strip that can be bent into a triangle with a tab peeking out, and the box has a slit for this tab, so that you can put the anime woman upright, your box might have this too

Open back headphones don't quite match the use case (even at home I need some isolation), sorry!
I don't really plan to upgrade, well, maybe Dusk (which will give me small improvements at 4 times the price), but for now the intent is to have one pair of headphones for everything, for the next couple of years at minimum.

Looks like for the Zero 2 they addressed the lack of bass, looking at squig.link comparison.
The music also bops, it's nice
[Here's the post](https://hexbear.net/post/2998482) that made me research everything I could about IEMs for the next several days. I ended up getting Truthear Hexa - they are said to perform exceptionally well for their price, even accounting for their date of release (IEMs are improving sound quality to price ratio every year). The only two things that I was somewhat wary of are that their nozzle that goes into the ear is bigger than usual and that people were describing them as "boring" and "somewhat lacking bass" (which is not actually a problem when equalizers exist and the user does not use iphones). After getting the ears somewhat acclimated to wearing IEMs I tried different random tracks. Turns out that the tuning was perfect for me - similar to what I set on over-ear headphones, even (which are bluetooth headsets with ANC, and so have pretty usual tuning). Of course I could hear small details that went unnoticed before, Hexas are great at that. Then I put on a track that extensively utilised sub-bass. Hexas do NOT lack sub-bass. They also render it good. I both hear and *feel* the music as it reverberates through my head. I feel the texture. To lesser degree it extends to regular bass, too, and it does not dominate the rest of the frequencies, nor does it lack. I legit have changed what music I listen to because of this. The only complaint is about stock eartips. Silicone ones hurt the ears, so I used foam, then got Dunu S&S. Now I almost don't feel that the IEMs are inserted, and they don't break the seal when moving the muscles, it's pure bliss.

I remember seeing some that these attempts to resign were actually tests to see if the rest of the country (or was it party?) is remaining obedient and to assert his power over everyone else.

(how did this initiative not appear here already) The students of Russian State University for the Humanities, joined by students of other universities, CPRF members (both regular people and deputies), historians and more, are agitating for renaming the Ivan Ilyin Higher Political School on the basis of Ilyin being a fascist. Ilyin has been promoted as a "great Russian philosopher" by the state media, and is being defended by that same media, and Dugin, a well-known person with similar views and the director of the Ilyin School. The poster is taken from [the initiative's Telegram channel](https://t.me/rsuh_stopfa), it reads "Comrades, a replacement! [we] Will not give Ilyich in exchange for Ilyin!"
Under daemoncracy, you are allowed to :vote: if you meet the following criteria: 1. You are running under Unix-like environment 2. You are an active(running) systemd unit or occupy a similar role in any other init system 3. You cannot communicate with or provide interface for humans; you are free to talk to others, daemon or not, as long as they are not human
Learned about hexbear when lemmygrad had a post about upcoming federation. I enjoy Touhou and Len'en music and games and I like to tinker with my computer setup (maybe I will turn it into a homelab). I really need to read more, but I would certainly enjoy being in a friendly space. Sorry if my English isn't good, I don't usually write it.
