Good thing I’m attracted to fat people

I don’t think it had multiplayer but it did have different playable characters (with Yoshi — not Mario — being the default).

That bottom one really couldn’t decide if it wanted a wheel, a tread, or a catwalk ladder on the bottom right.
TL:DR; New gravel quarry and processing plants with conveyors! Also new church models.
An elevated train station with a convenient bus stop below. There have been surprisingly few elevated stations mods introduced to take advantage of the Metro update, so I created this! Feel free to comment, criticize, or make suggestions.

As a fan of Cities in Motion and Transport Fever, maybe I’ll finally check out this game.

It would be a cool mechanic if you had to mine ice with a mining drill, then heat it up before using it in water-based recipes. Maybe it could be done with a smelter, at the very least as an excuse to give it a fluid pipe graphic for modded recipes too. Would also be cool if you had to keep pipes heated or they’d burst — there aren’t many “maintenance” or “breakdown” mechanics like that, but it could risk being annoying especially if you’re on another planet.

They also said they were basing planets on temperature spectrums, so there’s got to be at least one cold one. But I’m sure they’ll make it unique — now that I think of it, it doesn’t have to have ice to be cold (though there will probably be a few deposits for all the recipes that use water).

Very exciting! I almost don't want to read the next planet FFFs because I don't want to be spoiled (though it sounds like an ice planet is probably in there somewhere).

This should be very useful for expanding to new areas! Or for providing emergency supplies if your trucks/buses get stuck. I wonder if they work in winter.
Side note, it would be nice if there were free harbors too, and smaller boats - the current ones are way too big for e.g. rivers.

Wouldn’t that be a bit complex to learn/hard to spend just 30 minutes a day playing? I haven’t played, but from what I can tell it’s basically rocket science the game.

Was this not obvious? I don’t think I’ve seen a single comment here supporting them.

Dramatic much? Maybe the people they follow haven’t moved to Mastadon.

I use Chrome! It’s nice how it syncs with my Google profile.
If I need 2 browsers for some reason, I also use Edge.

Think they’ll bother fixing the bug with the loop-de-loop by then?

None of Atari’s recent Rollercoaster Tycoon games have been anywhere near even mediocre, let alone good. I can’t say I’m disappointed because it’s par for the course at this point.

That’s fair, we as a society are probably manipulated quite a lot. though I feel like law enforcement getting cases wrong is a somewhat separate issue from the “targeted ads” one. The alternative would be to use shittier evidence, potentially racism, or just let it go unsolved. I hate ads too and I block them so I don’t have to see them. I guess I’m tired that 1/3 of Lemmy posts seem to be about privacy/FOSS, I wish there was more variety like the R-site.

That was confounded because his mother’s ex boyfriend seemed to be the murderer and used his car. Am I the only person on Lemmy who DOESN’T obsess over privacy, demand FOSS, and refuse to use Windows? My mother doesn’t have a shady ex-boyfriend, and it seems like a pretty fair exchange otherwise to give up my data in exchange for great free services that generally work pretty well — it’s not like I could sell my data myself. Nor am I paying my own money to use them. I don’t feel like getting a worse experience for e.g. maps (saw another post about it) just for the sake of data that (for most intents and purposes) doesn’t affect me directly.

With how many atrocities occur in this messed up world (and the Middle East especially), it’s hard to keep caring and see it as anything other than a sport in a faraway place.

I guess it could sometimes be an unfortunate coincidence that you do something suspicious where a crime just occurred. But surely you’d be proven innocent after looking at other evidence.
Hello! I recently watched a video about busways, and it got me wondering if it would be viable to have a bunch of different bus lines that converge into one corridor. But most cities are small enough to be covered by only a few bus stops, especially as they can be placed relatively far apart. Is there any benefit to placing them closer together and reduce walking distance? Do citizens benefit from a shorter walk to the bus stop?
