OC = Own Collection [*Rhynchovola* Jimminey Cricket](https://www.orchidroots.com/display/summary/orchidaceae/100062278/?family=Orchidaceae&role=pub&syn=N) = [*Brassavola nodosa*](https://www.orchidroots.com/display/summary/orchidaceae/24208/?role=pub) × [*Rhyncholaelia digbyana*](https://www.orchidroots.com/display/summary/orchidaceae/178329/?family=Orchidaceae&role=pub) Unfortunately, it does not smell, even though *Brassavola nodosa* smells really nice, and *Rhynchovola*s are also supposed to have a smell. With bonus Jiminy Cricket pin.

Everybody knows you can factorize out the sum in the denominator because it doesn't depend on j (It's just a normalization factor)
*Maxillaria* is in the subtribe [Maxillariinae](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxillariinae), which also includes *Lycaste*.
Somewhere in Kowloon but I don't remember where. It was raining and there were people going by, so I became impatient and wasn't able to get a well-aligned and centered picture.

Btw, there were also a few Vandas, a even less Dendrobiums if I recall correctly
Photo taken at teamLab SuperNature Macao
[*Chysis laevis*](https://www.orchidroots.com/display/summary/orchidaceae/40379/?role=pub&related=ALL&syn=Y&searchdata=) is in the subtribe Chysinae (it was previously placed in Bletiinae). The flowers were open only a few days and I suspect they pollinated themselves, because I don't have anything closely related. There are four fruits in total, and they are quite large. Why is the first picture a Paphiopedilum? (It's an orchid)

The photograph is taken looking up in a room. There are thousands of cables hanging down from the ceiling to the floor, with LEDs attached at regular intervals. The room has mirrors on the walls, on the ceiling and on the floor, so in whatever direction you look you see this. The whole this is programmed to shown different colors changing over time, combined with music and sounds. You can go through the room through a predefined path where the cables are shorter and don't reach the floor, allowing you to walk under them. It gives the illusion that you're in the middle of some infinite arrangement of lights, going on in all directions, sometimes moving, sometimes rotating, or just pulsating with the music. The room is part of a wider art installation called "teamLab SuperNature", in Macau, and it is quite a unique experience.

The view is nice, but I think if I lived there I'd go once and then not again because it's expensive
