I was sucked up big time by Project Hail Mary, the Children of Time series is nice too, currently reading the third book, had to stop reading Hyperion because Sol Weintraub's story made me cry uncontrollably (as a father), A Canticle for Leibowitz is nice, highly recommend The Swarm by Frank Schatzing, seems kinda boring, but it was highly captivating read for me, highly accurate fact wise and the main premise is a very interesting idea

yeah, but it's dialogue, when what you're saying is met with disagreement you stop talking, though in many cases it's misunderstanding, people not getting the joke or what I want to convey (not native English speaker here BTW), generally i find people here more ideology-driven and rarely getting the jokes, than on reddit, it was more loose back there (mandatory fuck spez obvs)

Yeah, I'm not sure blocking HTTP downloads by default is a good idea, I mean many offices probably have some internal legacy HTTP only sites that nobody dares to touch, that are perfectly safe being HTTP (if you have hackers inside your network a simple intranet site spoofing is your least problem), and disabling this security option might have a lot of wider repercussions

Recently I saw this [RTX 4060 Ti by ASUS with an m.2 slot](https://videocardz.com/newz/asus-shows-off-rtx-4060-ti-graphics-card-with-m-2-ssd-slot), it's a sound idea, why waste 8 lanes (by putting 8 lanes GPU in 16 lanes slot). But I'm wondering about homemade solution, I found [one of those passthroughs](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/1005006303082901.html), it should work theoretically, adding 2 additional m.2 slots to the system, obviously it won't work in most PC cases without a pcie riser. Anyone tried that? any success? in my case (pun not intended?) my motherboard only supports 8x8x bifurcation so i could use only one m.2 device but on motherboards supporting 8x4x4x bifurcation both m.2 slots could be usable **EDIT**: just got a bios update that says "Support graphics card with M.2 storage" and it gave me 8x4x4x bifurcation option, lol
It could be really handy, sometimes I click a video post by mistake (easy to do by mistake, I liked colored triangles in the thumbnail corner like relay did on Reddit) and (with current YouTube) can't exit it fast enough, sound goes blasting when I don't want it to (because back gesture won't exit the video but minimize it to show me the rest of YouTube's glory)
are there any pixel/stock like launchers currently in development? went from motorola to oneplus and missing stock launcher, nova launcher isn't developed since 2021, lawnchair haven't seen any release since 2018-2019, ruthless can't be officialy installed because it's 'made for older devices', hyperion is weird with icons, they look small at 115% and clip if set to larger percentage etc.
Hello For those unfamiliar with Moto gestures (moto actions) the ones i mention are gyroscope based double chop for flash light and and double twist to launch camera, it's very handy to be able to launch both those actions irrespective of app you're in and if the phone is locked or not. For example i could be in game, watch youtube or just take the phone from my pocket twist my wrist two times and have camera app launched Now on OnePlus there are screen off gestures like V for flashlight and O for camera, but those are inconsistent and don't always work (40-60%?), also those require screen to be off, same with double press power/volume, also double press for power collides with 5 x power for emergency menu. Are any of you using any apps that enable gyro gestures similar to Motorola ones? all i can find online are old guides, or links to old apps that don't always work or aren't necessary trustworthy privacy wise etc. tried it with automate but it doesn't always work. I prefer apps that are FOSS, gentle on battery and don't spy on me

**Previously this post title was "2fa doesn't work"** Hi, I enabled 2fa about 2 weeks ago, it seemed to work but now I can’t log in, it doesn’t say anything, I just see 400 http status in browser’s debugger (F12), i have only this Jerboa session logged in and no browser session to disable 2fa **EDIT**: weird, now it doesn't ask for my 2fa (admin godly intervened?), just straight refuses to log me in, no error message, just HTTP 400 in console, password reminder email doesn't come too [Imgur link](https://imgur.com/taCnKkm) Apps say incorrect_login **UPDATE** so yeah, it was a 2fa problem, new jerboa has a corresponding toggle in the account settings, so I disabled it and can log in in other clients
