What a shit fucking weekend all round.
Normall I love cherries. Today I feel differently.

Also - fuck international breaks.

Liverpool without Saliba, though... They're flying high and I can't say I'm not worried.

That makes a lot of sense, and very much tracks with what I've experienced of DHS. Scumbags.

I see your point about multilinguism, but in my experience it's the less successful or developed nations that have foreign managers. For example, Korea recently had Klinsmann and Bento as managers. I was mostly just taking a jab at England.
sensiblepuffin 4d ago • 100%
Fun fact: England is now the only nation in the FIFA top 5 to not have a manager from the same country. Interestingly, Belgium (Italian), Portugal (Spanish) and Colombia (Argentinian) are the others from the top 10.

Highly doubt it, but I know players have a special place for their national teams. He's not captain material, though.

I think they're funded just fine, but recent events have created some unusual expenditures for the SS.

Hopefully it's more dark arts :(

It's possible - we got discouraged pretty quickly. Perhaps if we'd walked a few blocks we would have had more luck.

Bukayo's looked precautionary, though that might be copium from me. If he's out then we're 10x as screwed as we would be with no Odegaard.
sensiblepuffin 1w ago • 100%
Yup. Bad news.
sensiblepuffin 1w ago • 100%
Rumor has it that Odegaard might be back for Liverpool, but I really think we should be overly cautious and let him have extra time to heal. The last thing we need is for our captain to have a recurring injury problem that never fully heals.

"What he say fuck me for?"

Oooooo, jealous! Some people out by me reported being able to see it but I guess there's too much light pollution near me :(

Because they would rather run him into the ground.

If nothing else, I'm glad they're showing their true face during these legal proceedings and gasp having an actual challenger for the title again.
As for world events... sigh football is supposed to be an escape and it sure isn't feeling like it right now.

See, that's when teams pull out a random pasting and everyone collectively forgets there were any issues for a few weeks.

"The PL aren't saying we won! That's so unfair!" Man, I had no idea the entire Manchester area was filled with crybabies.
🎵 Movin' on up 🎵 Also 😢 for Ramsdale. What a good guy. Also also, our away record is somehow getting better.
Sorry I missed last week, was stuck in a hurricane (not actually) 🙃 Down the Foxes
No notes. Row is green, London is red.
Not new but hopefully improved. I'm adding a Notes column to indicate things like penalties, own goals, and red cards to add some context to matches. As usual, feedback is always welcome! I have a ton of hidden columns that tot up things like xG/A under/overperformance, etc. so maybe halfway through the season I'll open that up as well. Fuck Kavanaugh. That is all.
🎵 He knows exactly what we need 🎵
I don't think I'll get over this season for a while... whichever way it ends up going.
Time for the Korean guy and Sp*rs to do us a favor
Turns out Shit is Shit, everywhere you go * added an indication for OG because I was sick of the xG values being somewhat misleading when they get scored. Fun stat: We've scored 5 and conceded 1 OG this season.
Fucking Villa and Fulham.
http://clubelo.com/Ranking We were 6th in February. we could very easily be in 2nd place by the end of the season given how few points separate 2nd-5th.
"Are we ever going to look like we did in 2022-2023?" I said in December. Now somehow we look even better.
I don't love the Guardian's methodology, so I may take some time tonight and try to calculate it with [club ELO](http://clubelo.com/ENG) instead to see if there's any analysis to be had there.
Doing just as well as last season, you'll never sing that
A win against Newcastle would bring our points difference back to 0, matching Man United's GD this season.
