Not sure if this counts, it is not really a recipe, but I put buttermilk on my cooked oatmeal. I use the thick rolled kind, microwaved 1 to 1 oats and water, 50% for 5 minutes (so it just sort of expands but does not get creamy) then top with buttermilk and maybe dried cranberries. Might be even better to toast the oats first! Just occurred to me. Mmmmmmm.
Playing around with a practice bag and found a cool strap that I thought should be shared. :-) Sorry the picture is sort of washed out, hope you can still see the fun detail on the strap. This is a fun idea! And, I have to admit to snorting while laughing at your "Weave in your ends, slacker!" comment. 😂

Missed this yesterday! Hope a belated addition is ok. This is my repeat of a fun scarf pattern with more tame yarn. I forgot how long it takes to make the 24-inch ties, so this has started slowly. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/one-skein-cashmere-ruff

I have never made these (but love eating them), but would a small amount of gelatin be useful for adding moisture? Or would that ruin the texture?

Looks delicious! I always forget about pearl onions, but they do go so nicely in a stew. 😊 Thanks for the reminder!!
