Hereās my thing: I donāt necessarily care what sort of game you make, I just want it to be feature-complete and technically solid (I.e. mostly bug-free). Whether thatās a small indie game or a massive AAA game, those two things should be true.
I think what most people find frustrating is that the in-game store is the most well developed part of most AAA releases nowadays, which often ship riddled with bugs.

I remember finding some comments from people being pissed that Blender got an Undo function. Felt like I was living in a bizarro world.

āToday, targeted advertising takes this concept to new heights, leveraging vast amounts of audience data gathered from the digital realm.ā
Imagine being so proud of your data harvesting that you would write this.

I totally understand being spooked at the possibility of litigation, but this really seems like a poor exercise of judgement all around. Like several people have noted, LW isnāt hosting the pirates materials, and the pirate communities arenāt even on their instance.
Like, Reddit has r/piracy, you really think theyāre going to come after LW when r/piracy has been around for years and is magnitudes bigger?

Thatās a bummer. I really liked the vision she initially set out with when she entered the role, but the actual content of the site never seemed to move beyond āgame journalism, but a bit more snarky.ā I wonder if some higher-ups never really let her vision move forward.
I've always been curious about how others are using it. Currently, I use it to create 3D animations for tutorial videos at my workplace.

Even so, weāre still likely to get mod support given what Bethesda has said about the modding community.

Iām getting it on Steam just for the modding capabilities! I like that Bethesda has been good about getting mods onto the Game Pass version of F4 and Skyrim, but those arenāt as extensive as the Steam versions.

Seems like a safe bet on PC. If Bethesda doesnāt fix any broken parts, the mod community usual does.

Iām so excited for Manor Lords. Looks like the type of medieval game Iāve been wanting for a long time.

I donāt love it, but Iāve found that itās been less intrusive than I thought. Generally only feel it when the internet goes out. That said, Iāve got fairly good fiber internet, so Iām a bit privileged in this regard. We used to have absolutely horrendous rural internet and it sucked.
