Indoor farming is really exclusive for just a few produce tbh. Majority of vegie/fruits can't be realistically indoor farmed.

At least i got my lettuce.

Does that mean people under criminal charges should be disqualified as well, right?

It is a space they can merge. You leave gap in between car to make merging easy, then you release the pedal to slow down to achieve that desired gap again. It's a coop, not competition.

  • Is it normal to be banned from a big community because of a comment critical of a "left leaning" dictatorship? (Cuba)
  • Annoyed_Crabby Annoyed_Crabby 2d ago 92%

Unfortunately since your post was removed we can't see what you actually wrote, and since you didn't post which instance the community is part of, we can't use that to give you more information.

    Let me help.

It's a totalitarian dictatorship that sucks at running the country. There's very little food and decaying services blackouts and the like, political violence and prisoners. I know a lot of cubans (because those that can run away) and everybody hates him and the regime (at least those outside). I know the US block makes thing hard, but that is not the only responsable. I'm a leftist btw, so this is not an attempt to inflame. You can not justify such a dictatorship because the doctors are very good or some other superficial stuff.

    Imo it's very level-headed comment.

    Removed reason: Mccarthyist propaganda

    Banned reason: Anticommunism

In .ml, yes. Your post and comment can be very easily removed for arbitrary reason but usually anti-communism, regardless if it's factual or not. For example, your comment is removed because you criticise communist country and they don't like hearing that.

ml's folks, especially the mod and admin, have a very thin face, just like communism leader, and will only accept anything good said about communism. My comment got removed for misinformation because i said china trying to claim my country's sea as theirs.

There's also the micro-aggression going on with .ml, they could talk shit about anyone but if you use the exact point at them, your comment gonna get removed.

It's very similar to what china is going through right now. In general, just don't interact with them.

Yesterday i finally whip up the courage to try commuting with bike, i planned the 40km round trip to visit my mom and go grocery shopping on the way back,, planned the route with as much residential street as possible, and that was a fun experience! While there's a lot of "woah, ebike"(where i live a proper ebike is rare, even though mine is converted) and "you travel from that small town? That's insane!" from stranger, what's not fun is the ride on some stretch of the road. I live in a small town outside the city, a lot of the road going out of the town is pretty much 1 lane each way, no cycling facility for the whole country(Malaysia), the road shoulder is narrow to non-existent(the line is basically bordering between road and grass/dirt) if not filled with potholes/cracks/sketchy road maintenance/bump made by tree root, and motorist often driving very fast even on narrow road. Luckily more often than not they does give me a lot of space when they're passing(thanks to motorcycle culture), but those who don't is very discouraging for the whole experience, mostly it's the one riding moped that pass me too close for comfort with 30/50kmph faster than me(no thanks to motorcycle culture). I planned to do it often, first by doing a no-car sunday, then slowly switch to commuting to work(also 40km round trip), and eventually cut down car use to only just a day or two a week or only on long distance travel, but this experience kinda made me second guess the whole plan. It's also quite tiring, i can still feel the fatigue today. So how did you guys that do the commute able to keep going? Any advice on that end?
