To allow the consumer to have a choice of the features that they want in the vehicle.
Subscription models for accessories allow users to opt out of things such as heated seats, parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity, etc, if that's not something that the user determines is worth paying for. Alternatively the user could opt in to even more features than would normally be available.

"Political elite" should not be a phrase.
It's problematic because it implies a disconnect between those in power and the general populace. It suggests that decision-makers are inherently separate from the communities they serve, which undermines the idea of democratic representation.
The real issue is that 'political elite' accurately reflects reality. It highlights how disconnected many politicians are from the everyday experiences and needs of the people they represent.

Diesel: ~30%
H Fuel Cell: ~25%
BEV (fossil power): ~20%*
BEV (renewable): ~55%*
*BEV is highly dependent on energy source. Anwhere from ~20% WTW from natural gas power generation to 75% from roof-mounted solar.
Keep in mind this is a summary of a summary of a summary.

It just occurred to me that my internet dialect in my IRL dialect are slightly different in a few ways. Curious to hear others dialectal differences and thoughts on the subject.
