I think the Lightning-Protocol was a little more difficult, because there were Display Adapters which probably need more than 4 lanes. And who could forget: some iPad actually had Usb 3 over Lightning.

No, if the clamp-mechanism breaks, you habe to replace the connector on the device while with UsbC you only have to use a different cable.

There is physical connections between devices. The pins that make electrical contact. There are 24 on UsbC and 8 on lightning making a lot more things possible.
Also there are structural benifits. Lightning connectors are held in by the device which makes replacing the clamp a lot more difficult than just switching the cable like UsbC, where that mechanism is inside the cable.
And last but not least is Usb an open protocol while you would have to pay Apple if you wanted to implement Lightning.

Thank you a ton for your advice. I'll look into it. If you ever need something that has to do something with Webdesign or Music theory, please hot me up!

Wow thanks for the detailed response My keycaps are like this. I personally never heard of Glorious Panda switches as I am also very new to keyboard building. And I found out that they are actually Keychrons own switches and confused them with Cherry. So far, I found no measurements of them.
I thought there would be some cheap plastic baseplates for people to build their own keycaps, but surprisingly this isn't a thing. And purchasing a whole set for this is straight up waste.

But what do I search for?

Ok but there is not something like this out of the box that I can buy?

This is how the keycap on the keyboard looks on the keyboard
Hi there, I am using Keychron K1 SE and wanted to switch out the orange escape-key and the lights-key with wooden keycaps. After making some small wood clips, I tried to use some sawed Lego-Parts to put them on the Cherry switches. They fit surprisingly well, but are not held in firmly enough. Can I purchase some baseplates for custom keycaps somewhere or should I try to get them 3d-printed (I have no experience with that)? Thanks for any help

This is a professional debug techique, what are you talking about? But I rather use 'Hii' with various (but not ascending) amounts of i's.
As most posts are focused on USA politics why not label as such. This community should focus on world-politics or general politic-focused discussions. Like how parties across different countries do their campaigns, not about how Trump said, he would do a backflip if xy happened.

yes, the apps are mediocre, but there are alternatives. (Also, its the only ROM with official support for my device)

All this hate towards u/spez only gives reddit engagement. The only way to real success is by making users move to Lemmy.
Isn't this a very common phrase? Surely, someone already thought about this?
