What is a website everyone should know about?
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

    famicase.com

Waste your time seeing custom Famicom cases that people designed.

Seriously, this website is a great place for finding inspiration, if you are like me.

Question: People who still frequent Reddit, has it gone back to business as usual or are the protests still having effect?
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

I am someone who posts art somewhat regularly on Reddit, and I cansay that all of the subreddits that I posted art to has been un-private, so it's business as usual for me

Man even ships get censored nowadays!?

We truly live in a society.

I am a big part a lurker, but I also create content sometimes

    I don't know honestly

    5
  • It's so funny seeing a large group (almost all) of the people in my feed being so excited about this new social media thing that they managed to get in through invitation on Instagram. A bunch of naives, honestly. (Don't wanna do this but *sigh*)

What app is everyone using for Lemmy
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

Trying out Connect after using Liftoff for a while. The experience is well so far!

I really hope nobody calls people in the fediverse that name though, maybe Fediphile is better

To be honest, you can say the same about Twitter

  • Nice try Google
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

Using LibreWolf right now! The experience is smooth most of the time, although you do need to switch to Firefox when you need to view DRM-controlled content (like when participating an online course, for example).

I posted this question because I once saw a tweet that said something like: "If you use adblock, you don't care about creator's point blank" What is your opinion on this? Do you agree with them?

Right now on Liftoff, whenever you saw the replies on a comment (not the replies of the replies of the comment), it will be indicated by a slim green bar on the left side of the screen. Can you guys make this bar more visible? It's very hard to distinguish the reply of the comment from the comment itself unless you look closely onto it.

    Stuck on Login on Lemmyworld
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

I also have a Lemmy.world account, and I connected it to Liftoff just fine.

Can you give me more information on this, like perhaps a screenshot of it?

  • What Android app should I use to browse Lemmy?
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

I am currently using Liftoff, because:

    • Wefwef and Mlem seems nice, but only for iOS
    • Lemmur is almost completely unusable, as you can't even add your account from an instance into it (And funnily enough, Liftoff seems to be a better fork of Lemmur)
    • Jerboa is nice, but lemmy.world (the place where I registered my first Lemmy account) isn't on version 0.18 yet, so I have to abandoned that option as well. I think I may go back to Jerboa, since I have accounts on multiple instances now, but for now I will still use Liftoff as my main app for Lemmy surfing

  • fediverse soon
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

Meanwhile I fled to Lemmy from Reddit because I need a place to show art without being under some platform whose vision and actions I don't support

    13
  • Almost broke 2.5 million daily total users on Lemmy in the last 24 hours.
  • tsukii tsukii 1y ago 100%

I think you can somewhat assure that most of them aren't bots, since bots get banned fairly quickly by mods of instances and most instances have systems to make sure the bot will not pass through so easily
