As every commenter on this type of post said: If they arent mentally fit to drive, they shouldnt drive.
I will not be kind to people who fuck around with two tonne machines.

People ignore education, grow up stupid. Stupid people vote stupid politiciants into office. Stupid politiciants cut funding to education. Worse education, people grow up stupider.
Its a vicious cycle

We should. Not counting them is like not counting all the laptops/PCs with windows preinstalled and Apple devices with MacOS preinstalled.

There was an option for a fake gps app somewhere in settings a while ago, not sure it still exists.
Other than that, I doubt it. Android is incredibly locked down. Maybe if you root your phone and install magisk there is a module? But then you risk losing banking apps, netflix etc.
Edit: Spoofing GPS seems to still be possible. Download a GPS spoofing app, enable developer options, then in there search for "Select mock location app"

Why in hell would you want to end a driver install? Do you want your PC to break?

IIRC There are newer screens that let you refresh/update only a part of it, so it's much faster when animating like a progress bar.

Seems to be more a firefox issue than a site issue. Works fine for me.
Could also be your phone blocks widgets on the home screen. The "app" firefox installs is just a widget shortcut that launches a single tab in firefox.

Yes it is quite obvious but some people absolutely will still think its serious.

I tried both play store and fdroid version. Both were outdated.
Now I'll just download the new apk off of github when I hear a new version was released.

I believe this will only hurt you more than it hurts them. You're locking yourself out of a lot of useful posts and guides.
Just don't engage with the site. Remain a guest user. If you really wanna, use Tor to remain anonymous.

You could install Firefox Focus, and set Jerboa to always open in that. Firefox Focus is an incognito only version of the browser that deletes all data on every exit.

Coming from sync, I definitely feel this difference.
Seems like a beast to me! I've been thinking of using it for a DIY drums project that needs a lot of analog reads and processing per second.
Right now, under the "Subscriptions" section in the sidebar, communities with no icon are moved a bit to the left relative of communities with icons. This makes it seem like the other communities are a category of the one with no icon. Eg. In image below, Music Gear seems like it's part of a category "Arduino". ![](https://lemmy.ml/pictrs/image/f19d85ab-8422-4ec9-ada7-d61d74400c9d.png) I suggest a placeholder image for the communities with no icons. Either that, or move them in line with the communities with icons while leaving the icon blank. Edit: love the new update btw
I'm noticing that the upvote/downvote counter on various posts is a bit erratic. I saw it in realtime going to 1.1K up to 2 up and 13 down to 8 up. I made a post a little bit ago and the instant I posted it it had 8 upvotes on the total counter. Hovering over it revealed it had only 1 upvote.
What caused users to sign up to specifically lemmy.ml, instead of other servers? I am aware a lot of users signed up after the spez AMA, but even before the AMA the site was overloaded.
